The Book Broads

Meet Aaron Wakely: musician, budding writer, and brother of my friend Adam Wakely. Aaron’s latest writing project has been to launch a simply-written blog to document his sense of wonder about the world, at http://wondersense.blogspot.com/.

The main reason that I’m a Book Broad, along with Angela and Kim, is because I have a sense of wonder about writing, communication, and the act of putting your words out there whatever way you can. That’s what I love about his simple blog with short posts that remind me to chill out, with his Eckhart Tolle-like tone and very Zen to-the-point style. Perhaps many of us take writing and blogging too seriously. Here, I’m reminded of the basics of poetic writing, where the real art lies in truth said in the fewest words possible.
