Angela here. Peter H. Thomas wrote a book called Be Great: The Five Foundations of an Extraordinary Life in Business – And Beyond. I had the pleasure of escorting Peter to some of his media interviews and we had some time to spare after our visit to Joy TV so, at Peter’s request, we went to Barnes Harley-Davidson. It’s a HUGE motorcycle shop with all dozens of bikes on display. I know very little about motorcycles so it was fun to learn from Peter and the staff. Every time I drive by I think of Peter and remember to “be great” in all that I do.
Kim here. Bill Bryson makes me thing of other places. His writing is the FUNNIEST I have read. His travel writing is not about the pretty spots, the have to sees… he brings humour, insight, character and fun into each adventure.

I recently read A Walk in the Woods: Rediscovering America on the Appalachian Trail and it reminded me on my 20’s and hiking, camping, discovering and laughing with friends. I was taken back to my youth and things that I kind of miss now. I will not being doing week long treks now or in the future… but I envied the solitude and discovery that he had. I cannot wait to read more of his books, he makes me laugh and laugh.
